Stayed at both Back of Beyond locations in Sigiriya. Dehigaha ela - remote and wild, great for hikes, waterfall, amazing food, close to nature. Pidurangala - shady and cool, evening bird watching tour, lots of wildlife, chance to see elephants.

Felt very homey, no complaints whatsoever.

During my stay at Back Of Beyond - Wild Haven Villa, I found two standout features of the hotel that made my transit stay comfortable and convenient. the hotel offers a roundtrip airport shuttle, which was a great relief after a long journey. The convenience of being able to rely on a reliable transportation service ensured a smooth and stress-free transition to and from the hotel. the location of the hotel is excellent, with easy access to nearby attractions.

While there were many positive aspects of my stay, one minor issue I encountered was with the quality of the bedsheets and towels. They appeared slightly worn out and could benefit from some improvements.

The tree houses were super cool, surrounded by nature and totally far out! We had a blast exploring the Yala Nature reserve and climbing up Sigiriya rock. The tour desk on-site was wicked handy for planning our adventure-packed days! And talk about foodie heaven, the meals were outta this world!

The only bummer was that there weren't any fun activities specifically geared towards young party animals like us. It would have been rad to have some groovy night events or a chill hangout spot for late-night shindigs.

The rooms at Back Of Beyond - Wild Haven are so cozy and comfortable. I had a hard time leaving the super comfy seating area in my unit.

I personally didn't like that some rooms only had a private entrance.

Great value for money, the room was comfortable and unique. The location in the jungle was stunning and we loved hearing the sounds of nature. The staff were friendly, helpful, and made our stay memorable.

The hotel breakfast menu could have more variety and options.

The room was so cozy, with a seating area where I could unwind after a long day. The split level layout of the Tree House was unique and added to the charm. Having a private bathroom with hot and cold shower facilities was such a convenient touch.

Personally, the private entrance of the triple room felt a bit secluded for my liking.

My girlfriend and I stayed at Back of Beyond for three nights and were pleasantly surprised by our experience. The location, though remote, is easily accessible and the warm welcome from the staff made us feel at home. The half-day tour arranged by Kasun and his team allowed us to explore the jungle and rural surroundings, giving us a taste of the local culture. The food was excellent, with a variety of Sri Lankan specialties, and our boulder cottage offered a breathtaking natural backdrop. This peaceful retreat is a must-try for nature lovers seeking a tranquil getaway away from everyday stress.

This place is absolutely mind-blowing! The tree hut in the middle of the jungle is jaw-dropping. We felt like we were the only people in the world, surrounded by the most incredible animal sounds. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay super. The food was fantastic, the best curries we've ever had. Can't wait to come back!

The accommodation was truly unique, set in the midst of nature with treehouses surrounded by ponds and lush greenery. Waking up to the sights and sounds of the jungle was a magical experience. the location was also great, being close to a nature reserve and within reach of major attractions. the food served was excellent and the staff was friendly and helpful.

There were some issues with the level of service provided during our stay. the hot water was not working and despite being informed about it, no solution was offered.
